Indonesia to cut subsidized fuel sales to limit pollution, official says.

Indonesia aims to reduce air pollution in Jakarta and other major cities by improving the quality of subsidized fuels and limiting their availability to fewer vehicles, according to a government official. The country currently subsidizes widely used 90-octane gasoline and certain biodiesel, both of which have high sulphur content that worsens urban air pollution.
