India. After intense heat, heavy downpours hit New Delhi.
The roof of the terminal building at the capital's main airport partially collapsed due to heavy rains. As a result, one person was killed, 8 people were injured, 4 cars were damaged.
According to the India Meteorological Department, about 148.5 mm of rain fell in the airport area in three hours in the early morning. And 228.1 mm of precipitation fell in one day, which is the highest value in June in the last 88 years.
