The United Kingdom authorities has continued the use of neonicotinotid pesticide Cruiser SB, a pesticide that kills bees. This comes even after the pesticide was banned by the European Union, a call from the scientists that the UK government has ignored. Considering the adverse effects caused by the pesticide and the warning from farmers and scientists in UK, the authorities must sought to recall the use of all neonicotinotid products for the sake of bees and for the environment. It's disappointing.

@ann_nyambura_542 It's more than disappointing
•

Bees are of very many benefits amongst them being honey production and cross pollination and thus should be protected from any possible hazards
•
45 w
But why should they even insist on such harmful practices? They should be condemned
•
•
42 w
@winnie_nguru Instead we should embrace safe beekeeping practices.
•

This is just utter arrogance on the part of the UK government.
•
46 w
This is so bad!
•
46 w
The UK government is disregarding significant scientific evidence highlighting the adverse effects of neonicotinoids on bees and other pollinators.
•
•

It's disheartening to see the UK insisting on the use of these chemicals despite strong evidence of their harmful effects!

This decision will have a detrimental impact on the bee population and the environment as a whole.
•

@walter_lungayi The earlier the better, such decisions should not be approved.
•
46 w
This is disturbing and discouraging we need our biodiversity and not kiling wild animals
•
46 w
This very concerning and sad, they should think of important role these bees plays in the environment and stop killing them
•
•

Bees play a vital part in our planet and should not be endangered as this endangers our livelihoods as well. Say no to this!
•

@munene_mugambi The said pesticides will have adverse effects in the survival of insects and especially bees. They play a major role in the ecosystem.
•
•

This raises environmental concerns as it could negatively affect pollinators and ecosystem health.

@princess_nel_268 Instead, they should be promoting and implementing environmentally friendly approaches!
