Lubomila featured in a panel on financing a resilient net-zero future and participated in an exciting debate at The New York Times Climate Hub on the impact of tech on the green transition.

📉 Methane was a hot topic last week at COP26, with the US & EU leading a pledge of methane reduction of 30% in comparison to 2020 levels. Methane retains much more heat CO₂ so has a key part to play in keeping temperature targets in line with the Paris Agreements. Around 80 signatories have now signed up for the pledge.

✅ The International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS) announced the launch of the International Sustainability Standards Board to create a globally consistent sustainability disclosure. In short, this will result in a uniform global standard of reporting.
