I usually write pretty sappy posts on the Pixel Planet Today anniversary, but this year feels a little different. Not because I'm ungrateful or disappointed - but because this time around, I feel more driven than anything.
Late last year and early this year, I was feeling creatively burnt out. I pivoted my time to making a game, because what better way to make environmentalism approachable than through a game? We had also been accepted into Greentech Festival's Startup Land, lending itself as a driving force to getting it done. And today, it feels awesome to finally announce that the beta is online (details below on how to play)!
Anyways, here we are, a couple of months after the Greentech Festival and still I can only think of what comes next for @Terrabyte. I have a lot of other ideas (I'm a dreamer), and I'm excited for where things go from here. With this Pixel Planet Today anniversary (we're calling it "Beyond Tomorrow" to celebrate Pixel plus other Terrabyte projects, like it?) being the fifth one - it makes you excited about what will come of the next five, doesn't it?
Want to play Wasted Space? It's free (pay-what-you-want if you are so inclined ❤), all you have to do is go to
and click to 'Play the Beta'! If you have an itch.io account, you can simply search for "Wasted Space Terrabyte". There's information on both pages about how to play the recycle-in-space game 😊
- With love, Sammy (creator of these Terrabyte projects) ❤🌎
