The only lake in Sicily is drying up due to climate change

The Sicilian Meteorological Center shared a video showing the state of severe drought affecting Lake Rosamarina, one of the largest in Sicily, which has now dried up.
Italy has been suffering from droughts related to global climate change for the past few years. Lake Pergusa, which used to occupy an area of 1.8 square kilometers, has now turned into a puddle, according to observers from the Legambiente environmental project. In the last few months, Sicily has been experiencing abnormal heat and almost no rain.
