Climate warning

Birds of the same feathers giving reckless threat to our Planet's Future.

Michael Mann, a prominent climate scientist, has criticized Elon Musk for denying the science of climate change, calling his statements both ill-informed and damaging. Mann warns that if CO2 levels rise to a point where breathing becomes difficult, it would signal a catastrophic collapse of society. Mann also took issue with Donald Trump’s statement about sea level rise, suggesting it reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of basic geometry rather than climate science.Trump’s recent shift in attitude towards electric vehicles, influenced by an endorsement from Musk, contrasts with his previous criticism of them during his campaign. Despite his conviction on 34 felonies, Trump has pledged to reverse President Biden’s climate policies, promising to increase oil and gas drilling, accelerate gas exports, and withdraw the US from the Paris Agreement again if he is re-elected.

How do such people even get into power? This is a wake up call for us all to make sure that we make the right decision when it comes to choosing leaders.

It's alarming to see influential figures downplaying climate science. Their rhetoric not only misguides public perception but also poses a significant threat to our planet's future. Misinformation from such powerful voices could undermine global efforts to combat climate change.

@winnie_nguru such is a good 💡 idea. But fortunately the media let us know about their sinister motive. And unfortunately it is whether they can change their mind from the uproar and stand of the public that they deem to serve? And the dire need in the ground, balancing the opinion and solutions could mean better than their chest thumping and vomiting unnecessary rhetoric that sounds uncaring.

@winnie_nguru It's crucial to be discerning about who we listen to on critical issues like climate change. Those who dismiss or undermine the science and fail to act responsibly should not have a platform to mislead or distract from the urgent work needed to protect our planet.
