The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources revealed in a statement that it granted $61 million for drilling 87 new wells. According to the ministry, the North African country’s total petroleum production reached 74 million tons during 2023, including 28 million tons of crude oil and 45 million tons of gas. https://www.arabnews.com/node/2433206/business-economy

The focus on oil and gas exploration deals in 2023 is a missed opportunity for prioritizing renewable energy investments. Shifting towards renewable energy sources is crucial for sustainable and environmentally friendly energy production. It's time to prioritize clean, renewable energy solutions to mitigate climate change and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
