Uganda oil pipeline (EACOP) has ‘devastated’ livelihoods and destroyed ecosystems
A planned oil pipeline to help Uganda export its crude to international markets has “devastated” the lives of thousands of people who have experienced delayed or inadequate compensation for their land, Human Rights Watch (HRW) said on Monday.
The rights group also said the project, in which TotalEnergies has a 62 percent stake, is a disaster for the planet as it will add emissions that exacerbate climate change.

Oil = money money money...money makes people do anything... we need to make oil worthless. The more renewable power sources and storage we have - the more worthless oil becomes.

it's so absurd and alarming that the government can do that to its own people and also the impact this will have to climate is wanting

This matter should not be taken lightly because not only human lives will be affected but also the effects will take a toll on the general ecosystem... Better be safe than sorry.

EACOP has been a disastor to tens of thousands and it will be disastrous to many with what it will emit to our planet... it was sad to see in the news Uganda’s long-serving president, Yoweri Museveni, who has endorsed the project warning that he will not “allow anybody to play around” with “my oil”. Poor us!
And together we've planted over 150,000 trees. One tree is planted for every climate review written to an organization that is Open for Climate Dialogue™.
