Construction of Kenya's first Waste to Energy Plant in Dandora to Commence.

The Nairobi County Governor H.E Sakaja, Met with China National Electric Engineering Co. President Wu Guisheng and his teams today at Nairobi City Hall. After long deliberations it was agreed that they will commence the construction of Kenya's first Waste to Energy Plant in Dandora, a 50b PPP, which was awarded to CNEEC. The plant will produce 45MW of electricity from solid waste.
