Climate warning

Where East African oil pipeline meets sea, displaced farmers bemoan “bad deal” on compensation.

The serene coast line of congoleani used to be a little known paradise for local fishers and farmers just north of the tanzanian city of Tanga, but it's now becoming the end point of EACOP after a journey of more than 1400 from uganda Tanzania the oil is stored there awaiting to customers from abroad, EACOP being a big firm that partners with many corporations like totalenergies has sparked mixed reactions especially from climate activists who have stared a campaign called # STOPEACOP#to try and see if these projects will be recosidered.
