KENHA's preference for electric vehicles (EVs) in combating climate change is a commendable and forward-thinking approach. Electric vehicles have the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution compared to traditional gasoline-powered vehicles. By prioritizing EVs, KENHA demonstrates a commitment to sustainable transportation and aligns with global efforts to transition to cleaner and greener mobility solutions. Encouraging the adoption of electric vehicles not only helps address climate change but also improves local air quality and reduces dependence on fossil fuels. This decision sets a positive example for other organizations and governments to prioritize sustainable transportation alternatives in their efforts to combat climate change.

Transportation is a major source of greenhouse gas emissions, and switching to electric vehicles can help to reduce these emissions.

@princess_nel_268 Kenyans should embrace EVs for the sake of the environment. They just need to be persuaded more and reminded that they are better.

Am sure if all areas are observed properly i.e like fast charging points e.t.c the public will embrace it.

Oil or gas fired vehicles emit toxic fumes at the respiratory level of humans and cause serious health impacts. EVs are free from such health problems. The riding comfort is reported to be better for EVs. If the challenges of waste battery disposal is managed well and concept of ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) are realized then it will be really great.
