The EU should make the companies that make plastic products responsible for the recycling of these same products!
Today any company can make a product and the goverment locally or consumers need to figure out how to recycle it. Let's make producers responsible for product recycling, or at least the recylability of their own products, and they will have incentive to design products that are easy to recycle and reuse. Some plastics are harder to recycle and can ruin batches of plastics sent for recycling. This way the companies will more likely think twice before making a product out of non recyclable materials
