CLIMATE MENTORSHIP TO PRIMARY SCHOOL PUPILS ON EARTH DAY
The Kenya Inter university environmental students Association ( KIUESA) has joined Nairobi Rivers commission in a school climate mentorship program at Muthurwa primary school yesterday day in the celebration of #EarthDay2023 .
They provided climate education to around 700 students in primary school,where they mentored them on how they can be environmentalists.
Climate education and mentorship to young generation is essential for we will achieve #GenerationRestoration through it .
KIUESA has just launched the mentorship program to be done in 25 different schools in Nairobi which will be done in partnership with Nairobi Rivers commission.
KIUESA believes in and supports intergenerational mentorship where by the young ones are introduced to matters of climate change at a tender age so that they grow with environmental conscious mindset and Become part of solution to climate crisis and no part of pollution or creating problems for our planet.
It's impressive to see the youths in KIUESA taking the initiative to mentor the young ones in this field.
