I attended a Global Forest Watch webinar this morning, and was very impressed by their worldwide spatial and temporal data and analyses. At their website (https://www.globalforestwatch.org/), you can view maps of tree cover gain or loss, carbon sinks and sources, biodiversity information, and much more. You can also download spatial and non-spatial data. Worth a look if you're not already familiar with this site!
