U.S. proposes to formalize deep fee reductions for wind and solar on federal land

A new regulation will formalize a roughly 80% cut in project fees for wind and solar energy developments on federal lands under a proposal by the Biden administration on Thursday as part of a strategy to boost renewable energy to fight climate change.

              The image is amazing and disturbing at the same time, Seeing the solar panels means clean energy is been produced and also means trees were cut for such a project. If we could have a solution that doesn't sacrifice the other thing then that would be amazing

                Deforest an area (as it seems on the picture) to put solar panels on the ground and make the land useless for other things should not be part of the solution having this incentive.

                  @yoann_fol Great point. I wonder if they can put floating solar panels on water like lakes or ponds. I know that is a solution that some states are applying now.
