Oxy Captures Carbon Engineering in $1.1-Billion Deal.

Occidental Petroleum, a U.S. oil and gas company, has agreed to pay $1.1 billion for Carbon Engineering Ltd, a technology supplier. This acquisition will aid Occidental in creating multiple carbon-capture sites, part of its strategy to combat climate change. They plan to construct approximately 100 plants using direct air capture (DAC) technology, which removes carbon dioxide (CO2) from the air. The captured CO2 can then be stored underground or utilized in the production of items like concrete and aviation fuel. https://jpt.spe.org/oxy-captures-carbon-engineering-in-1-1-billion-deal

How much CO2 can it capture, compared to the amount CO2 released by their petroleum?
