Morocco among global climate leaders, surpassing major nations in 2025 CCPI
Morocco has secured its position as a global leader in the race toward carbon neutrality, rising to 8th place in the 2025 Climate Change Performance Index (CCPI), revealed on Wednesday at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan. The Kingdom now ranks ahead of major countries in environmental sustainability, including Germany, Norway, and Sweden.
Morocco's investments in solar and wind energy projects have been pivotal in its progress.
