Add a "sustainable materials" filter for online shopping
There are already lots of great lifestyle filters on Ocado, but it would be great to have a "sustainable materials" filter which shows products which are made and packaged using sustainable materials such as paper, card, glass and biodegradable fabrics as opposed to plastics (which can only be recycled once, usually).
It would make it much easier to support eco-friendly brands when you shop. Even better (and hopefully the long-term goal) would be to completely re-use packaging in the style of Good Club but this small change could make a difference in the meantime!

Thanks everyone for your support. If we could get this to 100 agrees I'd love to see whether there's any response. This has to be the future of retail!

This is a great idea, just wondering how they would define sustainable materials :)

I think at the moment allowing anything that can either be widely infinitely recycled and anything biodegradable within 10 years or so, would be good progress!

This should be standard but products should also have a calculation of emissions. A filter for social equality and fair trade would be useful also.
And together we've planted over 150,000 trees. One tree is planted for every climate review written to an organization that is Open for Climate Dialogue™.
