Successfull start for world first automatic sorting factory for textiles Every year, 4.3 million tons of textiles become waste in the EU. The capacity in this factory is to handle 1/3 of the textiles thrown away in Sweden. In Malmö Sweden, textiles are sorted automatically becoming new raw material to be used by the company #Renewcell, turning it into fibres that can be used making new textiles. End users are fashion companies such as H&M and Stadium. There is definitely a demand for reused textile fibres!
