It’s commendable that the LEGO Group is linking all employee bonuses to its emissions reduction targets. This approach incentivizes alignment with the company’s overall strategy and influences individual operational decisions. Such measures are essential
for a successful transition to a more sustainable future.

Incentivizing employees to think about sustainability in their daily operations is a great way to drive real change. Smart move Lego!

I believe this will encourage individual to reduce the amount of pollution and eventually we will get rid of most of the pollution.

Very good initiative! How do they calculate the individual carbon footprint? Do they rely on self-report?

Lego has to do something because it uses fossil fuels to make its products which cannot be recycled and which contribute to our epidemic of micro and nano plastics. It's the least it can do is reduce its emissions. Sorry but the planet has enough lego to reuse - we have to stop producing it full stop! It's killing us. Greenwashing.

@Rentzhog is that what it is? Each employee reducing their own personal footprint?

Unless they don't plan on doing much and this is a way of reducing worker bonuses without changing contracts. Most workers won't have much power to reduce LEGO's emissions personally.
