How can we support the innovation that accelerates a fossil free transition into the future? And how do we navigate in the world of private startups to support those we like? The theory of disruptive technologies became famous with Clayton M Christensens brilliant book ”Innovators Dilemma” and nowadays I can think of no better than Ark Invests fund manager Catherine Wood turning this into successful investing practice (albeit not focusing on only sustainable tech) Together with Jason Calacanis book "Angel- how to invest in technology startups" it has become a useful framework for me as a full time investor, both when looking at private and publicly listed, disruptive companies. And today I share some of these lessons on the Evolution Show, how you can enter the world of private startups – how to invest in non listed promising private companies before they go public with an IPO or direct listing. What to look for, what to avoid, meeting the company and further reading! I hope you find it helpful and get inspired! In the next episode I look at Joby Aviation/RTP, an american company developing an autonomous fully electric passenger drone, so stick around to stay ahead of the curve and stay electric!
